Desert maternity session with boho/western vibes? Um… yes please! Have you ever seen a more beautiful mama? I brought the dress and she brought the accessories. I loved the jewelry and western accents she chose to make the dress fit her style! This desert location between St George, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada was perfect and so unique with sage brush and Joshua trees. We almost had some cows come and join us….which would have been awesome. I’m never sad about four-legged photo bombers! Especially during a western photoshoot.

Another fun way to level up your maternity session is to bring an outfit change (or two!). I don’t know if there’s anything I love more than a baby bump in a beautiful dress… but a bare belly peeking out of blue jeans comes in pretty close second. I love the casual and intimate feel of bare feet and bare baby bump.

Pregnancy is so sacred and beautiful and (even though it doesn’t feel like it when you’re in it) such a fleeting time. It’s over before you know it, and even though you are rewarded with a precious little babe – I promise, at some point, you’ll miss that baby belly. Document it while you can and let’s take some beautiful portraits of you for you and your babies to treasure forever!
